Nitric acid  is a highly corrosive and strong mineral acid, famously used as a powerful oxidizing and nitrating agent. It is primarily produced for manufacturing ammonium nitrate, and used in fertilizers,dyestuff,Electroplate,pesticide.

Appearance: Clear and colorless, though concentrated forms often turn yellow due to light-induced decomposition.

Reactivity: It is a strong acid and an extremely powerful oxidizer, meaning it can cause flammable materials to ignite and reacts aggressively with many metals and organic compounds.
