Nitric acid is also commonly used as a\u00a0strong oxidizing agent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our\u00a0available nitric acid is an\u00a0azeotrope\u00a0with water at a concentration of 68%\u00a0&amp; 60%\u00a0HNO3. This solution has a boiling temperature of 120.5\u00a0\u00b0C (248.9\u00a0\u00b0F) at 1\u00a0atm (100\u00a0kPa; 15\u00a0psi). It is known as &#8220;concentrated nitric acid&#8221;.
